Features of Uncooled LWIR Continuous Zoom Lens
Continuous zoom lenses are medium to high quality custom products. With advances in infrared technology, continuous zoom lenses are moving in the direction of being more accurate, compact, affordable and easy to produce.
Infrared continuous zoom lenses use the movement of multiple lens groups within the optical system to adjust the overall focal length. These lenses have the following features: continuous focus during zoom and uninterrupted imaging. This means that the shooting range can be modified by adjusting the focal length without changing the shooting distance. Therefore, the infrared continuous zoom lens can not only detect distant targets in a large range, but also zoom in on close-range targets.
