Description of Infrared Zoom Lens:
1. Basic principles:
Utilize the movement of two or more lens groups in the optical system to change the combined focal length of the optical system while keeping the position of the image plane unchanged, and the image quality is always kept good during the zooming process.
2. Optical system:
Mechanical compensation zoom system: each moving component moves relatively complexly according to different motion rules, and finally achieves the purpose of preventing image plane movement. Mechanical compensation zoom lens: one group of lenses moves linearly (commonly known as the zoom group) to change the focal length, and the other group of lenses (commonly known as the compensation group) makes a small amount of non-linear movement to compensate for the displacement of the image plane to achieve both zooming of the optical system. And the position of the image plane is required to be stable.
3. Optical structure
The optical structure of the mechanically compensated zoom lens consists of a front fixed group, a zoom group, a compensation group, and a rear fixed group.
1. Front fixation group: its function is to provide a fixed image for the system;
2. Zoom group: responsible for the zoom function of the system, making linear movement to change the focal length;
3. Compensation group: make nonlinear movement according to a certain curve track to compensate the image plane movement generated by the zoom group during the zooming process;
4. Rear fixed group: It is used to convert the image of the compensation group into the final real image of the system, and adjust the synthetic focal length value of the system and the aperture diaphragm of the device to ensure that the relative aperture of the system remains unchanged during the zooming movement.
