What Are DLC And AR Coating?

DLC and AR coatings are two types of specialized coatings used in various applications.

DLC coating is a type of carbon membrane that is amorphous in nature. It contains sp3 bonds, which give it properties similar to diamond. One of its key advantages is that it can be deposited at low temperatures and over large areas.

On the other hand, AR coating, short for Anti-Reflection coating, does not alter the absorption rate of the lens itself. Instead, it works by reducing the reflectance on both sides of the lens, thereby increasing its transmittance. This process is known as "reflection and antireflection".

To understand how AR coating works, it is important to know that light is an electromagnetic wave. By carefully matching the refractive index and thickness of the AR coating, the light undergoes multiple beam interference within the coating. This results in destructive interference on the upper surface and constructive interference on the lower surface.


Why can't the lens control panel or module connect to the computer?

There are many reasons why the lens control board cannot be connected to the computer, the main reasons are as follows, which can be investigated one by one:

1. Replace the USB port, which may not be compatible with the data cable;

2. Replace the data cable, the data cable may be incompatible with the computer or the data cable selection is wrong;

3, confirm the module or control board wiring, may be loose wiring;

4. If the module or control board is faulty, replace the hardware.
