Feature of Cooled Continuous Zoom LWIR Lens:
Wavelength 3.7-4.8um, focal length range 22.5-500mm, aperture 4.0 medium-wave cooled continuous zoom infrared optical lens, AR outer coating, suitable for 640x512 medium-wave cooled detectors. The product performance is stable and can be used in the working environment of -40℃~+60℃.
Generally, infrared zoom imaging systems are divided into two types: continuous zoom and fixed-range zoom, and fixed-range zoom is mainly based on two-speed and three-speed zoom. The continuous zoom infrared optical system is used in the airborne electro-optical reconnaissance system, which can not only provide the pilot with the best situational awareness when cruising and searching, but also adjust to a small field of view to aim and track when a target is found. It is very beneficial to search and track high-speed moving targets to maintain image continuity during field of view switching. This system solves the problem of losing fast-moving targets during the time interval between two-speed and multi-speed lenses. A defect, therefore, is widely used in airborne optoelectronic reconnaissance equipment.
