Short Wave Infrared Lens Product Description
Material: Germnaium, ZnSe, ZnS, Si, CaF2, BaF2...
Wavelength: 0.9um-1.7um Short Wave
Adaptive Detector: 640x480-25um
Application: Infrared Camera, Thermal Sight, Telescope, Drone, Monitor, etc.
SWIR Imaging Lens:
The short-wave infrared imaging lens is also an optical lens, which gathers the short-wave infrared light emitted by the object to the image sensor through the lens group, and the chip converts the photoelectric signal to form a grayscale image of the object.
SWIR lenses are similar to visible light lenses, mainly composed of optical glass lenses, but the SWIR imaging lens group must be specially designed, optimized and prepared according to the SWIR wavelength. 75%, while in the 900-1700 nm band, the transmittance is >80%; if SWIR imaging is performed with a lens group designed for visible light, it will result in low image resolution (significantly reduced resolution) and high optical aberrations (and optical aberration becomes larger).
The lens group and other optical components (filters, windows, etc.) of SWIR lenses can use the same manufacturing process as optical components of visible light lenses, thus reducing manufacturing costs.
