Features of LWIR Lens :
In zoom lenses, the difference between dual field of view and continuous zoom lenses is:
Both are variable-focus lenses with variable focal length and adjustable sharpness. But there are a few fundamental differences:
1. Structurally, continuous zoom lenses have two sets of adjustable lenses, which are used to adjust the focal length and sharpness respectively. Dual field lenses have only one set of adjustable lenses, which are used to switch focal lengths and adjust the sharpness of the picture.
2. Under normal circumstances, continuous zoom lenses require two sets of motors to control. Dual field lenses require only a set of motors to switch focal lengths and adjust sharpness.
3. The focal length of the continuous zoom lens can be any value within the design range. The focal length of a dual-field lens can only switch between two fixed focal lengths.
