Infrared Athermal Lens Description:
1. Focal Length 8.7mm F1.0 Infrared Athermal Lens For 640x512-12um.
2. 8-12 Long Wave Germanium Athermal Lens For UAV Monitor.
3. Fixed focal length, suitable for scenes with poor focus.
Germanium is commonly used in long wave infrared lenses. Its high durability, inert chemistry and high Knoop hardness make it a suitable choice for abrasive environments. However, one disadvantage of germanium lenses is that they are prone to severe defocusing due to thermal drift in certain situations. In cases where temperature changes are expected, we recommend the ZnSe LWIR lens, which provides a more stable focus even in the case of large temperature changes.
Our long-wave infrared zoom lenses provide sharp high-resolution images over the entire zoom range. They are particularly suitable for machine vision applications that require detailed images. We offer discrete and continuous zoom lenses.
